GQ has called Alzheimer's researcher Eric Reiman a "rock star" of science.
Scientists often wear the label of "frumpy" or "quirky"--but rarely "sexy."
Meet Dr. Eric Reiman, recently labeled a Rock Star of Science by GQ magazine. He received the designation as one of scientific leaders and musicians who celebrate biomedical research.
Reiman is executive director of the Banner Institute, where he does his research. He is internationally recognized for his contributions to brain imaging research, the unusually early detection and tracking of Alzheimer’s disease, and the effort to find demonstrably effective treatments to prevent Alzheimer’s symptoms as soon as possible
