The Arizona Wildcats men's basketball team's season is over, which means coaches and players are reflecting on the last few months.

"It's special. You know we have some core tenants in our program and one is we are going to be a program rooted in love not fear, and you guys can see the love for each other and we're going to play for joy," said Head Coach Tommy Lloyd.

The Wildcats were eliminated by Duke University 100-93 in the Sweet 16 round of the NCAA tournament. Duke went on to become one of the four finalists in this year's competition last weekend.

The Wildcats' Caleb Love played his last game in an Arizona uniform. The NCAA tournament games marked the end of his eligibility for collegiate sports. The Wildcats finished their 2024-2025 season with a 24-13 record.

Next season's basketball team is already taking shape. Recruit Koa Peat from Gilbert is one of the state's best young players. NBA legend Lebron James's son Bryce James is also slated to join the squad in Tucson.
