In 1992, poet Richard Shelton became well-known for his autobiographical travel book Going Back to Bisbee. In October of 2016, Shelton's memoir of three generations of family history called Nobody Rich or Famous: A Family Memoir will be released by The University of Arizona Press. Mark talks with Richard Shelton about exploring the past using the diaries of his mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother as guides. (Richard Shelton will give a talk and a reading at the launch party for "Nobody Rich or Famous" Saturday, October 1st from 4 - 6 pm at the University of Arizona Poetry Center.)
