Tucson is no exception to the pattern of rising opioid overdoses and deaths occurring all over the country, and local law enforcement officials have said they want to expand efforts to counter that increase.
Arizona Public Media sat down with Pima County Sheriff Mark Napier and Tucson Police Chief Chris Magnus to talk about what the impact on the community of opioids and other drugs and to learn about what efforts are being made to combat the issue.
