In the midst of holiday plenty, Brian Flagg champions the poor

As the season of family gatherings and traditional feasts descends, Brian Flagg gets to thinking about the many in Tucson have no home, nor family. Since 1983, Flagg has presided over the Casa Maria soup kitchen, serving 600 meals a day to the homeless and needy. He discusses his work with Casa Maria and his pursuit of a program of social justice to improve the lot of those whose voices often go unheard.
