Did you know that Suzanne Somers, John Lennon, Amber Tamblyn, Crispin Glover, Jimmy Carter, and Dolly Parton have all published books of poetry? With a new exhibit called Celebrity Poets, the Poetry Center pays an affectionate tribute to celebrities who have used their influence and talent to widen poetry’s audience worldwide.
The University of Arizona Poetry Center is located at 1508 East Helen Street (at Vine Avenue). The Celebrity Poets exhibit is available for public viewing from Monday, December 19th through Thursday, December 22nd, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Friday, December 23rd from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
