The Class of 2020

Graduation speeches from two high school seniors who add context and perspective to this unique and challenging time.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought the school year to an abrupt end. For seniors, that meant missing out on the rites of passage like prom and gradauation. In The Class of 2020, we weave together exceprts from two Tucson high school graduation speeches from Tessa DeConcini of University High School and Isabella Espinoza of Desert View High School.
