COVID-19 trends in Sonora
The coronavirus pandemic continues to surge across Arizona, but especially so in two border counties: Yuma and Santa Cruz. Both have seen COVID-19 cases spike since Gov. Ducey's stay-at-home order expired in mid-May. That surge is reflected across the international border as well. Reporter Murphy Woodhouse with KJZZ's Fronteras Desk reports from Hermosillo, Sonora, where every level of government is tightening restrictions to try to get the disease under control, as the state enters a "worrying" phase of the pandemic.
