Phoenix-based Joronda Montaño is a preventionist, she works with students to help them avoid risky behavior. Joronda’s grandmother, Maggie Jones, is a crossing guard. Taking care of the next generation runs in the family. Joronda tells the story of how she was raised by her grandmother and explains the importance of intergenerational families.
