Thousands packed the University of Arizona campus over the weekend for the 4th annual Tucson Festival of Books.
“We’ve grown to be the fourth largest book festival in the country," said Bill viner, founder and chairman of the festival. "It’s not like there’s only five or six of them, there’s a lot of them."
“I’ve learned that if you have great volunteers and incredible sponsors, you can put together an event that makes a difference in our community. For me, it’s all about education and literacy,” Viner said.
This year’s festival also marked the debut of "Science City," focusing on the UA’s role in science.
