Some theorists believe life on Earth originated among the stars. University of Arizona astrochemist Lucy Ziurys uses radio telescopes to search for molecules in interstellar space. She says asteroids roaming the galaxy could have carried organic chemistry to our solar system billions of years ago.
Lucy Ziurys spoke with Tim Swindle, director of the University of Arizona Space Institute.
