The University of Arizona football team crossed an important threshold over the weekend breaking into the Associated Press’s top 25 teams in the country.
The Wildcats won their sixth game of the season Saturday, beating UCLA 27-10. The victory qualifies them for a post-season bowl game for the first time since 2017.
Arizona head coach Jedd Fisch agreed the team has reason to celebrate
“Six wins is a big deal," he said. "And for us to get there nine games into the season, we're really excited about that.”
The win put the Wildcats at 23rd in the AP collegiate ranking, just behind the University of Notre Dame.
